And his playoff experience is valuable.

You’re still not addressing my point. Apparently, the Mets told Scherzer and Verlander, they’re not expecting to compete in ‘24. You think they’re better off in ‘25 and beyond paying 2 40+ year old declining starting pitchers $100 million in a year they’re basically punting or adding 2 top 50 prospects? That’s all I said. They’re bigger threats moving forward with the prospects than hanging onto MS and JV. I didn’t say they were huge threats that we should be scared of or anything.
