you mean besides the 7 other Super Bowls and numerous Sugar Bowls and BCS Championship Games that went off without a hitch? sure

Minneapolis did.
Detroit did.
Indianapolis did not.
I'm pretty disappointed that Minneapolis did not get it. It really is one of the most underrated cities in the country and will be home to a beautiful new stadium downtown where the Metrodome once stood. Of course, I understand, climate at that time of year probably played an issue.
