How hot would Snit’s seat be if we don’t make the playoffs this year?

Too many injuries for his seat to be hot in any sort of way. Seitzer's seat should be red hot though.

We have two guys to overpay with and one of them is injured.

Our farm is barren

We have 5 or 6 quality arms in the farm, two just had surgery, but that won't matter to a rebuilding team with some patience. I wouldn't trade any of them, though. Not this year.

According to Bowman, Kelenic showed bunt on his own, not necessarily trying to bunt, and Laureano took off.

There was no squeeze sign.

This team has zero clubhouse leadership. Just a bunch of well-paid, really nice guys playing for a really nice manager.

This is where AA treating the roster like he’s running a franchise mode on MLB The Show has really bit us.

He was so hellbent on making moves to extend our window to a decade that he completely ignored clubhouse makeup and allowed the clubhouse to rot from within.

Look at the last three offseasons… Clubhouse leader Freddie goes, replaced by really quiet Oakland A Matt Olson. Clubhouse leader Dansby goes, ensuing big move is to bring in really quiet Oakland A Sean Murphy. Player favorite Wash leaves for a managing job, but we don’t do enough to try and keep fellow player favorite EY on the staff.

I know a few little league coaches that would absolutely lose it at this stupidity.

I do not believe this for one second.

With the Oakland duo the Braves have, they were stepping into a new team with a lot of established relationships. I don't necessarily think either is some gung ho leader necessarily, but its a lot to expect of them to come in and kind of take over the locker room. It took Harper a few years to really capture that locker room in Philly and he very much has that leadership trait.

Not expecting them to be a leader right away, my point is more along the lines of letting team leaders go without having anyone to step up and you only exacerbate that by bringing in quiet dudes who have no experience being in winning clubhouses.

Snit isn’t leaving until he wants to leave… and that’s fine… this isn’t his fault

This may expedite his retirement though. I think he wont manage past 2026 at the latest.
