Our bottom of the order production this year compared to last year is a billion times better

Horrendous AB by Albies as well

When YAZ is the clutch AB in an inning…..it’s bad

I am curious to see how Kim is going to look over the next few days. I have never been high on him as a player, and it’s hard to understand why AA banked so much on getting him back.

Hopefully AA proves me wrong there, would make me happy

Drake had a day off yesterday. Every time he starts to drop off, he gets a big hit. He hit a homer in the last game vs the Dodgers.

I mean a day off while the other guys are playing just to reset

I know he hit a home run yesterday but he Havel’s been taking some bad ABs lately at times which he is out of character for him

Kim has always looked better than his numbers to me. Cubs SS is batting .200 with a lot bigger contract.

His first slider above the mid point of the zone all day and and gets demolished.

At a certain point, you are what your numbers are.

I’m not saying he’s a BAD player….

Don’t disagree, but Dom is similar. Numbers aren’t special over his career, but the guy is a good hitter.

Getting Kim for the money and a one year deal was a great move

Expectations going in where if we wanted to get him at 20 per year we would need to offer him two years and maybe even an option.

AA got far more value the money was never a problem the years were

And now a walk. This is the issue with Holmes……he gives up BIG innings at times when he loses the strike zone/command.

Hopefully he locks in here

Holmes needs to be on an extremely short leash

Cannot let him have a blows up 5 run inning

I agree, I don’t hate it. I just wanted more impact either in the OF or SS
