This team hit everyone all season, and now they can't hit the Cardinals. Need to fast track Pache and Waters next year so we don't have the black holes of Markakis and Joyce in the lineup. McCann can't hit anymore either. I'm not sure if Freeman is really slumping or if his elbow is colossally fricked up. I tend to think it is the latter.

you seem to be missing the point. wrong calls are not the same as incorrect usage of the term "borderline" when it comes to applying the rules of the strike zone.
