Yes

Which is interesting. I know Keuchel > Teheran and all you need is one game and then we can go from there... but Teheran isn't as bad as his reputation makes him out to be. I would've been okay with him getting the start. I mean, if Dallas fricks this up doesn't that mean we'll likely see Julio start the deciding game 5? Yikes.

No, Folty in Game 5 on 4 days rest. He'd be getting 2 travel days between starts compared to just 1 for Keuchel. Teheran is only on the roster because Martin got hurt in Game 1.

I wonder if Folty is available if things get crazy late and we're leading.

Kershaw and others have been used late when teams are trying to close series out even if they are in line to start the next game. Interesting to see what Snit's philosophy is today.

I'm aware. But I trust Teheran to start more than I do to come out of the pen. That move bit the Nats hard on the arse last night. We're going to have to use him at some point and I'd rather do it in a game that isn't "win or go home."

Did those other teams have Luke Jackson to put out the fire though? Yeah, I didn't think so.

GabeBurnsAJC Everyone is available out of the bullpen today except Soroka, Snit said. That includes Folty.

Here’s the answer to that

While I agree with you, going with Keuchel in Game 4 pretty much cements he's not going to make an appearance in this series. And I could see them bringing another lefty reliever over him in the LCS.

that is why we are using a starter in fried who was beasting in regular season out the pen now.

I would hope we don’t throw Folty today no matter the circumstance. I’d hate to blow him today only to take an L in the 9th inning or whatever

won't need him regardless. I am expecting our offense to score plenty runs today. acuna with a leadoff homer somewhere. time for markakis and joyce to show the frick up.

step the frick up.

obvious to see who needs to show up and who has been showing up

that has more to do with the fact that Corbin pitched 6 innings and 107 pitches on Thursday only to come back on 2 days rest to pitch from the pen on Sunday. That decision is one of thr worst I've ever seen a manager make in the postseason. Horrible.

Me too - it's time. After Folty and Soroka just put the team on their backs, it is time for the offense to take over and win a game. Acuna and Albies reaching and a 3 run bomb by Freeman to start it off would be just what the doctor ordered.
