This loss may have cost us the series
It’s over, win tonight would have made it very difficult for LA even if they find their form (and I’m sure they will)

We used to call him Skates when he played for the Cardinals, unfortunately for you guys you found out why.

You dudes calling the series now, ffs.
The Braves stole game 2.
And the Braves are 41-19 since the start of August. Yeah, that loss sucks but let’s calm down.

Snit is a terrible late innings coach. Same as last year.
He’s been like this forever. He goes by pitch count and is usually late or wrong feeling out who is hot or cold. Perfect example again tonight with Luke Jackson.
I wish they’d just take Luke off the roster and maybe Snit could think more clearly. They want Luke to be this supreme closer but it won’t happen.

Luke Jackson has been one of our best relievers this season. It was fricking stupid to get him anything he could turn on when he was trying to launch something
Flat out PO'd me in that scenario, Snit shite the bed on that one.

Look, we're still in a good spot.
We really just need to win 1 in LA, it just sucks that our first chance at doing that turned out the way it did. Would've been so much better if we gave up 11 runs in the first inning like we did last year.
We are still guaranteed to have Fried and Anderson pitch again, which is good. But again, Luke can't be trusted the rest of the way. He's had two chances this series and has fricked up both of them.
If you really want to keep Matzek to one inning per game (which is dumb) at least move Minter ahead of Jackson in the pen.

That felt like a series changer.
That's because it was. Anyone who doesn't see that has never watched sports. The ONLY time I've ever seen a team blow a winnable game like that with a chance to win the series and then come back and actually win the series was when the Astros beat the Cardinals in Game 6 in 2005 after Pujols hit that baseball that took Brad Lidge's career with it in Game 5.
That game is what this loss feels like, but we don't have prime Roy Oswalt and steroid Roger Clemens to come out tomorrow and stop the bleeding.

this was our win there. next two games woulda been gravy with shots to close out series. we cannot expect to win 2 at home. just a split. dodgers were done. that crowd was a MORGUE. they had quit.
yeah i rather be blown out with no chance
u simply cannot blow a lead much less a 3 run lead to the dodgers in the 8th. you just cannot. theyre too fricking good, finish them when they are down.they shoulda known how to pitch belli. you knew he was winging for fences.

LA Bullpen game for the first, poor performance from Max in game 2, they stranded a massive amount of runners. I’ve enjoyed the wins but everything seemed to lineup. Off game for Bueller tonight…we needed this one.
I just don’t think LA will continue to slump, which is what we need to win IMO.
Hope you’re right though and things work out with a trip to the WS
