Today’s action will include Sale’s debut.

Chris Sale's debut begins with a 1-2-3 inning. He had a strikeout on a slider, then a flyout and a groundout. He set down Oneil Cruz, Bryan Reynolds and Ke'Bryan Hayes in order.

Chris Sale’s line in his Braves (spring) debut: 2.0 IP, 4K

Sale threw 25 pitches, and 16 were strikes. He struck out the side in the second inning. In that second inning, his fastball hit 97 mph and 95 mph.

He looked very good.

I wonder what he thinks of the uniforms?

One of my favorite baseball stories is when he cut up his jersey with scissors so he didn't have to pitch in some awful alternates the White Sox were wearing one game

Awesome.

Excited about this team. Here is to hoping we make it to October with Strider, Fried, Sale and Morton healthy and pitching well.

AJSS with not his best outing against Phillie’s starters today.

2 IP. 4 H. 3 ER. 1 BB. 3 SO.

Phillies still in our heads.

Ken Giles had a good debut tho. Struck out Harper, Castellanos, and Bohm for his only inning of work.

Rangers look to be the class of the Cactus League today after beating the Dodgers. Hope everyone has prepared themselves accordingly for a Rangers repeat as World Champions.

Forrest Wall is on a fricking heater to start the spring.

He's already had 3 AB's in 3 innings against the Rays and he's 2-for-3 with 2 homers and 6 RBI in a 10-0 game.

So far this spring. he's 5-for-8 with 3 homers. Not bad for your pinch runner/5th OF.

Forrest Wall with 2 HR and 6 RBI already today. Kelenic hitless so far in 10 AB. Any chance of Wall being opening day LF?

Unless someone gets injured, no.

Edited for LF. Will be interesting to see how long of a leash Kelenic has.
