I compared this year's salaries to next year's for the guys coming back.....I've got a rough number of our salary budget for existing players going up by $17m, excluding the difference between whatever Fried and Minter made this year vs what he will make in his last year of Arb (likely a lot). The estimate using MLB Trade rumors Arb estimations are that Minter will make $2m more and Fried about $1m more, so thats $20m right there just from salaries going up.

Our Payroll is at $175m without Fried and Minter. We are around $190m with them included. Fill out the rest of the roster with our Arb guys using those same estimates and we are at something like $207m. So we could increase the payroll and have literally the exact same team this year. People need to really temper expectations or you're going to end up disappointed.
