I had hopes for a while, but the division is much tougher to win with the current schedule. So few games left vs Phillies and Mets. And the wildcard is stack. With so many teams in contention, it’s that much harder to make a good deadline deal. So I’m just not seeing it.

Ok... so if we are in that spot in a year where we entered to be the betting favorite to win the division, when we are supposed to be in our window, why the frick are you getting so up in your feels about people saying something negative about the team.
I mean frick dude, we're 4 games under .500, 9.5 back of 1st place and currently behind the Washington Nationals in the division. Not to mention, we're 3-7 in our last 10.
Anyone being positive right now is willfully ignorant. We are not supposed to be in this spot... but here we are.
