Can someone explain the joke to me? Also, the guy in the 2nd pic is NOT wearing a flat bill.

Sure, last year, Dustin Johnson was penalized for grounding his club in a bunker (illegal in golf), and he missed a playoff in the PGA Championship by one shot. The problem was that the course was extremely unique in that there were over 1000 sand traps/bunkers on the course and the gallery was allowed to walk in them. This particular ball was lying on what looked to be a dirt path, but was ruled a bunker by the PGA of America. It was pretty controversial, and DJ has been an incredibly good sport about it all along.

agreed, but had to contribute. DJ wears a flatbill but seems to be far from a douche. Same with Fowler. There are WAY more douchey guys out there that wear bent brim caps.

Rickie's flat bill is usually worse IMO. The pic in the orange has a little bend in it but it's typically flatter than that. DJ normally has a slight bend. That being said...
The hat isn't why I personally think Rickie is a douche. I don't mind flat bills, I kinda like how DJ wears them. Rickie is a douche bc of the outfits he wears.
This wearing all of the same bright colors is freaking gay. I like golfers that dress nice, not guys who's outfits scream "LOOK AT ME!!" If that's an odd reason to dislike someone, then sue me. I've seen tons of people hate golfers around here for much less. And dont give me this "if you got paid what he did by puma you'd be wearing it too" bs. I've seen Rickie wear some tight stuff. What, did they pay him less that week? And Geoff Olgilvie got paid a ton to be the first player sponsored by Puma and he had a pretty nice fashion style. That is why I think Rickie Fowler is a douche. Not his flat bill.

ok I'll just say this and then I'M done. From everything you hear, Fowler is a stand up kid. Yes he dresses flashy and yes that will get old if he doesn't win soon. But that doesn't make him a douche IMO. I'd wear some flashy shite too if I was getting paid big bucks just to play golf for a living. When I think douche on tour, I think more Bubba Watson getting pussy hurt after playing poorly in Europe, or Anthony Kim showing up half drunk to play in a major.
What he wears is where golf is going in the future. You'll see more guys wearing the nike "athletic" style shoes and bright arse outfits with dumbass hats (flatbills/painters hats).

You do realize that he probably doesn't even pick out his own clothes right? I am sure they are just sent to him each week and labaled "Thursday, Friday, ..."
