I once put sugar in someone's gas tank for a window decal exactly like that.
They lived in Houston, too.

Why are you going to miss the first game?
I may have to work the night of the home opener.

Been a Stros fan since the days of J.R. Richard, Nolan Ryan, Joe Sambito, Jose Cruz, Enos Cabell, Craig Reynolds, Joe Morgan, etc.

Which is your favorite team?
I guess the obvious choice is 2005 version of the 'Stros, but mine is 1998. Even though Kevin Brown crushed us in the playoffs, you have to respect 102 wins. I didn't miss a game that year, and I saw 22 in person, despite living in Baton Rouge.

I have to go with the '86 team that won the NL West. Had alot of characters on that team. Charlie Kerfeld was nuts. Kevin Bass could do voice impressions, his impression of announcer Keith Jackson was dead-on.
Not to mention a hell of a pitching staff (Nolan Ryan, Mike Scott, Bob Knepper, Dave Smith). Too bad they lost to the Mets in the NL Championship.

I bring you one of the greatest moments in Astros history
for me here are some my greatest moments. These are for the duration of my fanhood so I won't include things like Mike Scott's game back in '86 since I wasn't around. So in no particular order:
The 18 inning Braves NLDS game:
~Clemens pitching relief in the 18th
~Burke's walkoff homer
Watching the final out of the 05 NLCS: Shallow fly ball to Jason Lane in right.

Biggio's 3,000th hit. I still remember Brownie's call "Line drive right center field thats number 3,000". And when Bidge brought Baggy out onto the field with him. And Carlos Lee ended that night with a walk off grandslam.

haha for the 05 NLCS final game I had gotten my notice that I was suspended the next day from school (7th grade I think). After the flyout to go to the word series, I went got the suspension notice. If I had shown my parents that before the game I woulda missed it
they were pissed.
Also I remember coming back from lake charles listening to the 18 inning game hoping we could make it back for the end. We did
