Lebron is the best ATHLETE i have ever seen, but that does not equal being the best player. And a 3 year run at doing what specifiacally? Carrying a team? Yea hes been the best player recently, but basketball didnt start 5 years ago. Kobe, Iverson, Shaq, Duncan all had VERY impressive runs...

No way in hell. If you meant after their careers then you need to be specific. Because right now Jordan/Anyone is ten times better than James/Wade.

IMO, I can't see any logical argument for KD over Dwade. Just can't.

Durant is a more developed shooter, better scorer, and better rebounder. Dwade gets to the basket easier and is a better defender.

I'll definitely take Durant over Wade, and if Durant continues to improve his defense like most great perimeter players have, he will be right there with LeBron. Pretty much everyone's top 5 players or whatever has changed this postseason, which I find laughable (not directed at you).

Maybe for the future. Not a chance in hell right now.

I pointed this out yesterday. It's a joke for people to drop Kobe to 5th because of 4 games and his TEAM's success if you had him 2nd before the Mavs series.

People are doing the same with Dirk, just in the opposite direction.

I said this in another thread, but if Kobe gets 1st-team All-NBA over Wade this year, I'm going to murder every last one of the voters.

Why the frick would you be angry about this? How do you feel about Jeter getting awards that are merely for lifetime achievement and not actual performance?

Rose getting the MVP is further proof that individual awards do not really have any signifigance.

Wade's a better passer, MUCH better defender, and while Durant may have a better total rebounding number, Wade is better for his position, I'd imagine.

And Durant may have a better arsenal as a scorer, but give me the guy who actually produces, and Wade always has the higher FG%. right now, I say no brainer DWade.

There is zero chance IMO Durant will ever be right there with Lebron until Lebron hits the downhill/age side of his career.

Just wondering because I was not sure if you would be upset when (I would assume) your favorite baseball player won awards.

I don't think Durant is going to get much better than he is right now. If he keeps his current build and frame, I don't see how he can improve that much defensively. And he already doesn't get that great of separation on his shots.

I'm not upset when Jeter wins awards, because I do like him. However, he in no way, shape, or form deserved the GG last year.

And if I was a fan of a shortstop who was the most deserving of that award, I would be upset.

They've already locked up Durant.

Westbook is gone in the next few years.

It's a complete Garnett/Marbury situation. That article I posted a few weeks back called this shite.

Could Westbrook end up on the Lakers with a couple years? Going back home and all.
