How do public universities get around their state requirements for the interviewing processes/hiring when they have a specific coach in mind?

What about federal universities?

I’m sure they avoid most of that stuff, just not sure how.

It's a requirement in most states. Not sure why it's so funny.

I'd totally enter in my NCAA stats if the EA servers were still available (RIP).

Hi. Does my experience as a coach in Madden and NCAA 14 qualify me to be a coach? I can kiss the players and apply for a Mensa designation as well if needed. I have no real coaching experience but I see that’s not what Texas values

I’m sure someone in Austin will get a good laugh from the single-celled brainiac LSU fans before they submit “delete all” for this totally staged process.

Better not apply for another state job, though.

In Texas you have to give a 21 day period for public comment for high-profile positions such as this.

I understand it’s probably a requirement in most states but they can make an exception

Anybody remember the junior high coach in Alabama that applied for the LSU job?

Dude was a legend.

Search firms help with some of this, I think.

We're not applying. We all know Canada's getting the job.

LSU posts their coaching vacancies on their university website also.

I'm not sure what is funny.

Damn you seem really salty that your “certified genius” coach lost to shrimp boat captain. All of you geniuses in Austin still can’t figure out the whole football thing no matter how much money you throw at it. Maybe it’s the mentality in Austin, all artsy and soy now

Some of that letter was so so, but I'll always show respect for a man who drops this paraphrase:

My defense this year has been impetuous, and my style has been impregnable.
