this could backfire on colt come draft time.
NFL teams might have second thoughts about taking a qb who takes a weak hit and cant throw the ball 7yds.
has their ever been a QB who experienced numbness and cant throw the ball 7yds? even after half-time, he was incapable of throwing the ball??

He couldn't throw the ball 7 yards. How much better could he have gotten with any medicine or shot?

Dude just the other day Ben Rothlisberger was zinging up with a sprained right shoulder.

Someone people can play threw it, some can't......Some want to get paid to do it.......some are getting paid.
I understand Colt's decision based on money but everyone needs to quit posing him as a martyr.

I should've recognized Morris's linguistic skills a miles a way honestly.

So now it works for everyone except qbs......
RBs and receivers don't need arms, or shoulders for pinpoint accuracy, and thus a shot in those areas doesn't effect their game. If you are those guys, get a shot, put a harness on it, and get back out there.
A QB needs it to be 100%, and it's just not going to be that. The shock to the area causes your muscles to lose strength. That's not coming back any time soon.

I'm just gonna say I've never seen a QB get "Hurt" where he was in no visible "pain" and then has a miraculous arm injury from a lower back hit which has moved from a "shoulder injury" to a "pinched nerve"...
None of it makes any sense.
Colt may have been slightly dinged, but he and his dad chose to ride the pine in effort to preserve his draft hopes.

You can't say this cause SUPA believes I'm shitting up threads by posting this.

I don't see the logic
Sitting out labels him as soft and hurts his stock IMO. Coming back and playing does the opposite
I choose to take people at their word until I see reason to do the opposite. I understand people being cynical but it seems personal as well (to some of you) and I don't quite get that

Andrew Hatch got layed out a few times last season, and still stood up for the next play.
For sure Hatch was seeing stars after some of those hits he took.

So a QB that cant throw the ball 7 yards is going help his team win the game being down 24-6. Think before you type. Gilbert gave Texas the best chance to win the game.

Yeah, this stuff reeks of "I hate Texas". How anyone could think you could operate a spread offense with an injury like that is beyond me. I could see handing it off, or maybe even some short throws to a TE, but this is a full spread O, and not being able to throw is the worst thing that could happen when it comes to their offense.

That has nothing to do with his shoulder...
Why do people WANT him to have not been seriously injured? He couldn't throw. Plain and simple.

Does anyone think Texas fans made fun of him for crying, like they repeatedly have for Tebow. Colt also cried when he thought Nebraska was going to beat them.
Nothing against Colt, just the Texas fans.
