Maybe it's just because I'm a Gamecock fan.

(Falcons fan)

The opposite for me, but that's mostly on the rule changes and the clown commissioner. Nothing compares to the college atmosphere, except an NFL playoff game.

Same, probably because I'm a Michigan fan. It's getting old seeing the same handful of stacked teams run the sport. I don't even care so much about seeing Michigan break through, but I think it would be good to see a "middle class" team rise up and win it all one year.

thats because you like good football. 98% of college games are complete trash compared to maybe about 30% of nfl games. and in those nfl games they at least have elite players and athletes.

anyone who likes college better is just a band/pep rally kinda guy to be quite honest. lots of rah rah, not a lot of substance to the game.

Always watched and paid attention to the NFL, but never really got behind a team. Was always Gamecocks 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Didn't dislike the Panthers or anything, just never really got behind him.

I move here and I get into the NFL. Now I'm a frickin' Redskins supporter so you tell me how I'm doing.

For me, it's just seeing the players I watched during my college days.

Dak having success for the Cowboys has definitely affected my interest at the pro level.

It's also fun to see all the dominant D-lineman that we've put in the league as well.

Chris Jones
Fletcher Cox
Jeffery Simmons
Preston Smith
Montez Sweat

It has always and will always be a players league for me.

Opposite for me, but that may change once the college players start being paid.

I watch football for the product on the field and the chess match that is playcalling and then seeing how it plays out with sometimes lopsided talent differences or similar.

The drama in the NFL with the players off the field, the refereeing and then the bloated self-importance of some players to take huge deals and leave their teams cap strapped is a major turn off for me.

I watch it every weekend, but I also watched the AAF and will watch the XFL as well. I just enjoy the product on the field, usually regardless of how shitty it is in terms of 'good' football.

I'm the opposite. Hard for me to imagine paying much attention once the Saints decline. Similar for college... not as much fun for me to watch a random game as it was 10 or so years ago.

Absolutely not.

I use to watch almost every game since I was a boy. Believed in the integrity, how it was all sports and nothing else (now we know it is a show and outside noise exists when it didn't before), wasnt a soap box, soft game with ridiculous penalties left and right, and there weren't reviews every other possession. Yes there were bad calls but was mever too lopsided.

Wasn't until Seattle/Pittsburgh super bowl that I started questioning this league and it's integrity. Goodell has done everything in his power at the behest of the owners to destroy the once best product in the world.

Professional sports has become a shite show.

I love both. One weekend college is better, the next the NFL is.

I enjoy college a bit more, but the great thing about the nfl is most games are competitive. College can have weekends where most games are blowouts.

The "Players rights" thing has been interesting. They're voluntarily playing to make millions of dollars yet owners/gm's are villified if they don't give in to every ridiculous demand the players make

ETA: I grew up in the North East Megalopolis and obviously that's huge NFL territory. I feel bad for all of my friends back there who are primarily NFL people and don't give college football a second thought. It's not even close to as fun as college football. Sure it's more even and sanitized but as far as wild moments, bands, tradition and history, it can neveer match it. Ultimately the NFL is a bunch of millionaires playing a game (which seems sillier to me every year but i still enjoy it) and college football is ultimately a bunch of kids out there. It's just pure fun with a healthy mix of legitimate stakes and competition.

My interest has actually declined. And it isn’t political or because of rule changes or anything like that. I’ll put it on Sundays but it’s mostly background noise. Rarely if ever watch Thursday or Monday night games. There just aren’t many NFL games get me excited and make me want to watch.

I like them both. But I do prefer the NFL in respects to it’s all about the outcome. Win/loss. No style points.

A heavy favorite wins a close game on the road in the NFL and it’s a good win - “gritty and tough”. But in college, you drop in the rankings and may not get a chance to play for title - “soft and no killer instinct”

I’m the opposite. As a kid in the 90s were awesome watching my favorite players. Once they all retired it’s not he same anymore but I still watch. I mostly watch nfc games on fox and I hate the games on cbs. Monday night football is not the same like it was when it used to be on abc and I enjoy Sunday night football.

Nope. The actual game has gotten worse, officiating is horrific and the players are mostly unlikeable.

I love college football and the atmosphere of a huge game like LSU vs Bama is incredible. I like the on field product of NFL more though. The playoffs are way better, the games are an hour shorter, the level of play is obviously higher.
