instead of names on the back the jerseys either had Fierté, Unité, Combattre, or Croire on the back

ull, likes to call themselves ul to make them sound like a big boy. why not just put lsu on your shirt and finally admit it.

I actually liked them, it was something different. The helmet also had a large fleur de lis on the sides. Those uniforms were a one time only uniform. They are being sold or auctioned off

If they went to a more traditional jersey but kept that same helmet, those would be an upgrade over the current ones.

I think the plan is to go to a more traditional jersey next year. The president and athletic director have been working on rebranding the athletic teams and getting the alumi and boosters more involved.

I've heard the Russell contract is up at the end of the year. Maybe related to that?

There was some talk about it during homecoming week at the alumni house. They have been putting together survey groups and sending out surveys wanting the input of alumni and boosters on the direction they want to see the marketing and branding go. They are working on getting us out the hole Authement put us in

I'm 97% sure they renewed with Russell.
I'm alumni and I haven't been sent anything in the mail, only an email with a link to the survey. Our alumni association sucks. I'm a recent grad without money to donate but I haven't even been asked to join RCAF or anything.

I am a uniform traditionalist, but I have to say i dont hate it (i also kinda like the nebraska N and wisconsin W jerseys)

Go sign up for RCAF, I think it starts at $100 or $200 for the year. Every little bit helps at this point as RCAF is still new to us.

IMO, they need to drop the hot pepper and go back to the bulldog. That hot pepper is in my mind gimmicky, and a kindergarden type mascot. The bulldog is tradition for ULL/USL. They need to embrace it.

Yeah, I kind've like the helmets, but those jerseys are just an abortion.
