No, because of the recruiting thing he pulled. Having players who are committed to other schools silently commit to Texas but keep their mouths shut until the last day

I call that smart recruiting, it's risky but if it pays off you slam the other school.

It's Texas. Please don't act like most coaches in this country who isn't somewhere like Alabama wouldn't consider Texas over Louisville.

Good coach just the wrong fit IMO and it was clear lots of UT baws behind the scenes weren't on board with the hire.

I really thought Strong was going to be a good coach, so I'm disappointed to see him fail at Texas.

Strong is too good a coach. He will get a nice job elsewhere.
