This sport specifically will NEVER be clean and yet one Yahoo report of an unsubstantiated claim of Will Wade on a wire tap talking about an "offer" regarding the "smart thing" sends everyone to protect the nonexistent "integrity" of the game

I was on a treadmill at the gym and read the CC.
Basically, the gist of it was:
"We need to clean up the sport, so let's punish teams like LSU, NCState, and maybe an Arizona. They need to take the fall" while they reported from UNC.
Then, they went straight into a promo about Zion, but somehow failed to mention his known payments to go to Duke.
The CBB media is just as much of a joke as the CFB media.
Basically, the gist of it was:

They also went on how Wade should be fired IMMEDIATELY or he should resign.
Can't have a new team disrupt that apple cart. Gotta try and take them out at the knees. I have no doubt ESPN and the rest of the SEC would LOVE to have Wade leave LSU, especially before anything is proven.
They are so transparent it is laughable.

The fans are just as bad or worse. No one believes their school could possibly do that.
A year ago it was 50 schools identified in this case, but right now it's like LSU is the criminal.

I assume basically every college basketball player gets paid or has some illegal benefit. Likelihood that is a correct assumption for all starters for teams in the T25 is approaching 100% IMO. Basketball makes football look angelic. The AAU circuit is one of the most corrupt setups in all of sports.
Eventually, a reporter will do an actual investigative report spanning multiple years and it’ll blow up. Until then, the media can remain a bunch of hypocrites.

Yep.
Jay Williams said Smart should be kicked off the team immediately.
There literally hasn't even been an accusation/allegation from the NCAA nor the Feds and people are already calling for heads to roll.
Sad part is, if this turns out to be nothing, they won't say a word about how wrong they were.

I guarantee if they caught someone else on a wire tap they would go after them as well. Will wade just sucks at cheating. Everyone cheats in CBB but Will Wade just sucks at it. It’s your guy and he is going to go down but show me a tape of Coach K talking about paying Zion and nothing being dine
