It’s an easy fix. Just nobody wants to do it.

Put a cap on what each athletic department in each conference can spend. The rest of the money goes to academics. Contracts go from the millions to a normal payment. The coaches and athletic departments stop pushing the limits and AAU becomes less valuable. Then you can draw a hard no cheating line and punish those who don’t abide.

But like I said, nobody wants to do it.
