Anybody who pays for this 2018 Mayweather-Pacquiao fight is a fool

Floyd's style is just super boring to Joe Public, like me. I had been reading about that on here and then learned my lesson, I think it was on the Canelo fight. I didn't bother with the Pacquiao fight. I was not surprised people were upset by it. Add in the fact that these guys are geriatrics and I wouldn't pay a dollar for it.

I'll pay to watch a nascar race before I'll pay to watch another mayweather fight. Both equally boring

Lot of people will sit this one out. Mayweather might only make $90 million on the rematch.

I’m paying for it because I love boxing and still love Manny. Gonna watch him be healthy and beat May.

Manny is my favorite fighter, I watch all his fights. So I would probably order it.

Anyone who paid for the first one was a fool. I don't care what the outcome is neither fight means anything. This fight should happened 15 years ago.

Guess I’m a fool then.
Then again I know what I’m getting and didn’t expect some slugfest the first time around.
There are plenty of YouTube videos you can find if you want to see two boxers beating the daylights out of each other.

The first fight was 5 years too late and one of the most disappointing and boring sporting events I’ve seen. Luckily it was a day full of sports and a house party so it was a good time regardless. No interest in watching part 2 though.
Mayweather/McGregor was at least entertaining

Some people just don’t understand that boxing does not equal fighting, which is more exciting to your average sports enthusiast. It was the closest thing we had to watching a fight until MMA took off.
But for those who understand the sport of boxing, and technique, and how it’s scored, watching Floyd Mayweather box is mesmerizing. He is a historically good technician.
That being said, a good college wrestler would whip his arse. So I cringe when he or any other boxer is referred to as a fighter.
So to your point, if you’re looking for a fight, do not buy.

Reasonable take.
There are other boxers to watch if you want to see fireworks. That's not going to happen in a Mayweather fight.
At one point in his career he sought knockouts but changed his style so that he could extend his career.

Manny too old and slow to beat Money. They should've fought 10 to 15 yrs ago. Sure Manny was hosed vs Aussie by judge rig job last year, but he's a shell of his former glory.
In their first fight, Manny had maybe two good flurries? Money simply out points him with speed. stacks winning rounds of rabbit punches. Manny's only chance is a KO, and despite better power and skillsets than McGregor, he's no faster than McGregor today, who was still not fast enough to tag FM.
It's time for both to retire(especially FM while unbeaten), but the shitshow that is Boxing still has a huge void that allows for massive pay days for two guys that are still good enough to not get destroyed.
In former eras when Boxing had depth and talent galore..both would've probably been KO'd into retirement via spectacular fashion by now..even with FM arguably being the greatest dancer and unhittable target in boxing history?

I feel lied to by the Rocky movies. I thought boxing actually involves hitting and not dancing.

Watching Mayweather is like watching someone shadow box for an hour. The guy is the most boring “Entertainer” of all time
