He's good at coming across as a badass on camera. That's about it.

I remember when Collis Temple had that hit piece out on Brian Kelly for the contract he got because of how bad people have it BR.
Mel Tucker got basically the same contract with only 1 winning season in his career. Did anyone in the Lansing area write any similar pieces on Tucker? Flint has shitty water supply maybe they could have used that money if that's the logic we're operating on.

It still boggles my mind how not only a small portion of the LSU fanbase fell for this guy, but how the entire sports media fawned over him as well. And I’m not just talking about the national talking heads either, local media as well. Hell even guys like Moscona & Hanny (neither were sold on Tucker) even spoke how he was a very likely candidate. HOW? His resume up to that point last year was not impressive in the slightest, and this year is just proving that he was a fluke flash in the pan. And now Michigan State is paying for a long time.
