What is the outlook for the team this year? Who are some of the best media guys to follow on Twittter and other outlets to keep up with the team?

Concerned about the long term outlook of the team. Time is running out and I think its a house of cards that will come down within the next 2-3 years.

The Fielder, Choo signings were clearly done to "win now" so they need to produce now.

Bullpen was terrible last year, I think that was as big of a problem as the injuries. Not really much signed in the offseason to plug that gap.

Darvish, Holland, Gallardo is a solid front 3 for the rotation but need Harrison and Perez to come back healthy for those 4/5 spots.

Profar needs to produce equivalent to his hype. Andrus needs to learn how to hit. This is probably it for Beltre, his last year to do something. Fielder needs to be healthy. Catcher position is still an offensive vacuum, Chirinos showed some pop but not a consistent average. Outfield is a major question mark all around.

Overall this team should win about 85 games, but I wouldnt be surprised to see it lose or win 95 games.

Follow Evan Grant from the dallas morning news on Twitter. He's probably their best beat writer. Also the Rangers have a solid 1-4 in their rotation. Which includes a healthy Colby Lewis who can go out there and eat up innings.

Lewis was awful last year, but we had no choice but to send him out there. He hasn't been the same since his injury

Yeah, I think the team is really up in the air, coming off the all the injuries and a first time manager. I believe they can make a run at a wild card spot but the division is probably out of reach.

There are 3 sports talk stations here 103.3-Dallas ESPN, 96.7- the ticket, and 105.3 - the fan. I think the best people to follow on twitter would be Ben Rodgers and skin wade, I'm on my phone so its not convenient to find their Handel right now, but they are pretty well known.

What do others think? Who is your go to for rangers news?

Yes as a whole, he wasn't good at all, but that's with him still recovering from that hip surgery. Toward the end of the year when he was all the way healthy he showed signs of him being the old Colby Lewis.

Rangers are the Dallas area MLB team. Lots of folks follow them. Sign up for Newberg Report emails. He is not great at braking news (that would be Evan Grant) but great at breaking news down for analysis. The minor league report is great

I'd listen to "The Ticket" for all Dallas-area sports talk. 1310 AM 96.7 FM.

The Newburg Report is good. Listen to "The Hardline" on The Ticket in afternoons. 96.7/1310. The Ticket might be the greatest sports radio station of all time.

The Ticket is great, and the Hardline (3:30-7) is the Rangers show of record in this town. Mike Rhyner (@oldgreywolf) and Danny Balis (@badkaratemovie) won't break nay news, but they are funny as hell.

Newberg for analysis, Grant for news. The Ticket for hanging out. The Rangers do need all of their prosepcts to pan out. Potential only takes you so far, but right now, almost all of their prospects have bombed at the MLB level. They need to produce (Profar, Odor, Choice, Martin... excuses for them end now)

Yeah, Gallo has a pass. He's still in the minors and not even on the 40-man yet.

Odor only has 114 games so I would expect him to take a step forward.

Detwiler acquisition should offer depth in either the back end of rotation or the bullpen.
