Cleveland loses Game 1 or goes into Wrigley 1-1 or 2-0, they may not come back to Cleveland for Game 6

I don't think you understand my point... Even if we lose, I'm happy with this season

They're better than you think they are.

This is easily the dumbest baseball post I've ever seen on this site. Cleveland's pitching>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Cub's pitching. Not even close.

Wait. I don't understand.

I thought the Cubs were trying to break their streak of 100-however-many years of not winning the World Series. How does winning the NLCS change that? Genuine question.

Was the goal all these years to win the NL pennant?

As a lifelong cubs fan, THE goal has been to win the world series. But having never won the pennant in my lifetime, a very significant step is winning the pennant. I really want to win this series because you never know if they'll make it back. But, this season has been extremely satisfying regardless of the outcome.

It's an even year... AL would've had home field advantage anyway iirc.

The Cubs haven't won a World Series since 1908. There's pressure on them, too.

Don't listen to Timmy. He just repeats everything he he hears T-Bob and Kristian say without even realizing what he's saying.

Never knew there were so many Cubs fans on this board...

Also, for those thinking the Indians can't win without starting pitching, the Royals say, "Hello."

Uhhhhhhh....

Cubs are #1 in ERA (3.15), WHIP (1.11), Quality Starts (100), BAA (.212), and Shutouts (15). Talk about putting your foot in your mouth...

Cleveland is 7th (3.84), 6th (1.24), 10th (81), 5th (.243), and 8th (11) respectively.
