I was so excited after game 4 that I didn't even give a shite that they lost game 5. I knew we had Prior and Wood and that there was no way they were losing both of those games at home. Post game 7 was the most depressed I've ever been after a sporting event, including walking out of the Superdome after 1/9/12.
And I really thought 2008 was going to be the year. I thought Karma was finally catching up with the Cubs with the 100 year deal. I still blame Crane Kenney for having the priest bless the dugout before game 1. frick that guy.

I'm a Cubs fan, but a bad one. I haven't really payed attention since they ripped out my heart and shite on it in 2003. I still have a place in my heart for those 80's and 90's teams though.

If you had any ability to comprehend you would realize it was a typo and that he probably meant Cubs...keep up the hard work at being a dick though

Well... When we haven't won in over 100 years there is not much to talk abt! I remember a time when I was a Saints, hornets, and cubs... I didn't know what success felt like (even thought I might even be cursed) until the Saints came through

Alot of players on the DL but if we can go 4-3 to open Wrigley ill be happy.

shite, he's only 23. He's already led the league in hits, is a 2 time All-Star, HRs, RBIs and steals have gone up every year, and he's durable; longest active games played streak in the NL.
If he tightens up his defense and takes a few more walks, we are talking about one of the best players in the MLB.

my bad. honestly i dont see what past SS have to do with him. He led the league in hits as a 21 year 2 years ago and last year was pretty consistent. His defense hasn't been good but will only get better
