Alabama assistant resigns after reportedly violating recruiting rules
I hope this turns out to be another USC/Carroll/Bush type scenario and Saban up and quits college football not wanting to deal with the aftermath. If that happens, the Bama nation melt will be a sight to behold.

It is more likely that LSU gets violations from Bo Davis' playing days than Bama forfeiting a title for any amount of violations

Nope. As soon as Saban finds out about this stuff he handles it, that is why he had arguably the best DL coach in the country resign.
Plus he has pals in the NCAA.

I'd say ND and tOSU are more hated right now, but maybe that's just how I've perceived it as an Alabama fan

Oh you mean where a wanna-be sports agent with no affiliation with USC whatsoever paid Bush and his family so that Bush would leave USC? That scenario?
Look, no school is going to get hit with the ridiculous sanctions that were levied against SC in the foreseeable future. That punishment had more to do with Paul Dee trying to make SC look more crooked than his Miami teams, and less about USC's actual violations. But everyone hated SC back then almost as much as people hate Bama now, so everyone just went along, some even wanted more blood.
I truly hope for your sake that your university never goes through what we've gone through (and still are).
