There are mentally ill people on every single roster.

don't want that fricker anywhere near the Saints. I'd rather not win a Super Bowl than him be the reason we do win it, especially signing the last week of the season.

I'd imagine you're alone in that category.

Yea I’m going to disagree with you
I don’t give a shite who’s on my team.
Gimme a title and I’m fine with it.

That is admirable. The mercenary last week of the season kinda signing does take away from it a little doesn’t it. It is always preferable to win with the guys who got you there.

I can't predict what or when AB will do something completely stupid or disruptive. Neither can Sean Payton. That's the point. That's the risk.

And when he does, he gets cut, so how would that ruin the locker room?

What I want to know is why did the investigation against him seemingly come to a complete halt as soon as the Pats cut bait with him?

It should've been determined weeks ago if he'd be suspended or not. But they just decided not to address it at all as long as he's not on a team? That's bullshite.

As another posted stated, it's the NFL's way of colluding, which makes sense.

Because its VERY POSSIBLE he will cause nothing but trouble.... No reason even taking A chance.... If I knew he could keep his head on straight it would be a great addition at this point... But he has a mental disorder...

By saying it's possible he causes trouble, you are also saying it's possible he doesn't.

He doesn't cause trouble, great, he's on your team and a great player.

He does cause trouble, that stinks, but you just cut him and you're in exactly the same spot before you signed him.

No risk/high reward...until someone can explain how he can ruin the chemistry of the locker room that Brees/Payton have cultivated over 13 years.

No matter how he acts it will be a huge distraction the team doesn't need right now...... I never said it would cause locker room problems.... Its like I said before... You don't put metal in a wood chipper...............

So why would you sign him in the first place?

No risk/high reward, you'll need to explain why you would NOT sign a no risk/high reward guy.

I’ve never bought into the whole “one guy can ruin a locker room” thing

Like what is he gonna do? shite in everyone’s locker? Try to sleep with all the wives on the team?

If he screws around he’ll be cut by lunch time

Saints have a pretty tight-knit locker room. They might tolerate his bullshite if he comes in and produces like an All-Pro WR immediately, otherwise he'll get tossed right back into the line at the soup kitchen.
