Nobody is "buying" anything. Pels want all the offers possible to make the most informed decision and we won't know that until the summer when the Celtics become players and the lottery unfolds.
You keep acting like competing teams won't drive up each other's offer. Cmon man.

Kenrich Williams is starting tonight for the Pelicans in place of Solomon Hill.

The Pelicans benched an awful player that went like 1-17 in his last shots.
Solomon Hill is just as good in a trade injures or healthy.
You guys are really grasping at straws.

Grasping at straws?? I'm hoping the Pels turn the Lakers down.

Did you seriously just post an opinion from local AM radio?
Posted on 2/4/19 at 8:03 pm to Green Chili Tiger
If all the Pelicans get out of the Davis trade is a few average to above average young players, two veterans who won't be here more than a few weeks, and a couple of picks in the 20s, that's a failure.

The Big 870 Baw. And they’re spot on. Funny take.

real draw to this deal is yall are getting out of solomon hills contract which i doubt anyone else would be willing to take on
is that enough to make it worth yalls while? maybe, maybe not. but its the one thing keeping the lakers in the running imo

Yeah, but they replaced him with a guy whose first name is a pseudonym. That can't be good.

I mean, there's two of them on the same all-star team as Tatum.

Not a draw at all. Solo's contract is an expiring next year. It'll be an asset for trades. If not, it'll expire. Not winning shite anyway.

Boston would also have the following picks to include:
Kuzma seems to be maxed out. Ingram is a lazy player who I know I'd hate. Lonzo shoots 40% from the free throw line. The Lakers picks will be in the 20s for the foreseeable future. Doesn't make my dick hard.
My preferred trade is the NYK pick (if they get a top 2 pick), Dennis Smith Jr., Kevin Knox, Mitchell Robinson

Yeah if anything Hill's contract won't be what makes or breaks a trade. We've only have to pay him one more year.

i was under the impression that he had a 2nd year left. i stand corrected
Posted on 2/4/19 at 8:19 pm to WestCoastAg
One more year at $12.7 million. It should be very easy to trade if they want. If not, no big deal. Mrs. B isn't poor. If this was Shinn, I'd be very scared that he'd do anything to shed contracts.

I don't fully understand dogging the Lakers assets, then saying this.
Barrett is basically the player Ingram was in his year at Duke. DSJ was almost the worst rotation guy in the whole league last year and pouted his way out of Dallas.
Knox has potential, but is under a 9 PER on a bad team. Robinson, also potential, but very little PT on a bad team and has been dogged by injury issues.

Barrett doesn't have to be the number 2 pick. I like Ja Morant to go over Barrett, maybe even Reddish too.
DSJ's probably a bench guard but if he can provide scoring, that would be a bonus.

Not to mention we save money on contracts.

Fair enough. I wonder about Morant for the 32% 3 point shooting at the midmajor level. Reddish has tools, but he's been rough this year. We'll see.
