WM might fall from the 1 seed to not hosting in the quarters from that loss. That’s a really bad one in the power ratings world we live in today.

If they go to 2 and we stay at 7 we would have to go to Monroe in 3rd round

Live Oak wins and they’ll be 2.

We beat Fisher 12-2… they went up 2-0 early on our #2 guy but that was that…

7 good innings from hosting and we’ll throw our ace tomorrow

They would still have that 1 last game with a 17 win team and live oak will be done

Its possible WM could drop as far as 5th.

it could be if St Amant loses to LO

1.Barbe
2.Live Oak
3.Sam Houston
4.Dutchtown
5.West Monroe

6 and 7 could be either St Amant or Mandeville

8.Natchitoches Central

I’m fine with that… would have been a YUUUUUUGE power point win for Sulphur

Not sure what you can do exactly to stop it though.

I’m fine with those games as long as they’re known in advance… but the last day allowed to add new games is today, April 13. That means if a team isn’t knocking on 34 games, they could add two Monday like that Barbe-Elizabeth situation (and that’s not the only one)

What I would do is ban scheduling a NEW game that wasn’t previously on the schedule after March 31st. You should be allowed to move games already on the schedule at will due to rainouts, but on April 1st, the schedules lock for the rest of the season.

would make them run sprints and triangles for 30-45 minutes on the field after a loss
Uh,,,,,, this is pretty common for many teams. I still do it, heck I do it after wins when effort was lacking. I don't see how it's even possible to "trash" an arm under the current rules.

I know years ago when teenagers and kids rode their bikes 5-10 miles a day and threw a whole lot more - there were far fewer arm injuries.

It was immediately after the damn game that ended at 8:30-9 kids were throwing up on the field. They didn’t even come
Off the field yet Parents were waiting around see their kids after the game. Some of them left. Don’t defend this bs. And I have never seen a coach do it in my life. He trashed the arms in the off season and practice. he had kids throwing over a hundred pitches first few weeks of the season. He made kids want to quit playing.

I have seen it twice in the last 3 weeks from very well respected coaches.

It happens way more than you think, especially from Sulphur regulars.

Ah off season arm trashing - that I will not defend. My son only threw over 90 pitches a game in April.

But running kids - I promise you 8 of the 10 most sought after coaches in the state do it.

Good programs don’t run kids, makes them fricking slow and doesn’t improve performance. Good coach focus on what improves performance not BS running poles
