Barbe lost to 3A South Beauregard. You can’t tell me they aren't having a down year.

They’ve lost 2 pitchers and are playing all comers with barely any days off

They are down their top 2 hitters, catcher and top 2 pitchers…yea they are down a little right now lol
But by the time playoffs come around all but 2 of those guys will be back except maybe the two pitchers and the freshman will be a lot more experienced
But they are also playing way harder schedule this year because the rules changed to where out of state games count
There was no flower mound or img on the schedule before
But in a 3 game series with Diego and Lawton Littleton pitching, they are not going to be an easy out. Without JD they lose the third pitcher and his huge bat.
But you were calling them down in the 3rd game of the yea because they only beat live oak, who is top 5 team last year and one of the better program in the state, 1-0. You haven’t even seen them play
Do you think west Monroe is down because they lost to OCS and Catholic?
It will be Sam Houston, WM, Barbe, the AP schools, live oak and Sulphur all competing for state semis. WM has the most talent, followed by barbe. We will see how it plays out
You failed to mention though barbe beat evangel later that night.

This,go look at who they played and how deep those teams went into playoffs last year. They have played 4 games in 3 days after playing spot tournament followed by Hoover tournament. Playing a ton of games against top competition, way more than in years past and hardly any days off. Of course they are losing some, especially with the injuries they are having

Their only loss was to Rummel 0-1 and that scored on an Error Brady Benoit has them playing well with underrated talent
