I don't care what y'all say, that kid is outrageous. His entire head was above the rim a few times. His explosiveness and polish for that age is very rare. He has unreal handle, change of direction, power around the basket, and a smooth shot. He is going to be an NBA superstar one day barring injury.
What a freak.
What a freak.

Him at FSU would be reminiscent of the 1 year Durant spent at UT.

I think people are just ragging on the highlights they showed, not questioning his talent at all.
He dominates at every summer camp he goes to and that is against the top competition around the nation, so no one is really questioning his talent.
He is a very smooth player on the court and that is one thing NBA scouts love in young kids

Not surprising. It's funny how these kids change the moment they see those $$$ signs. Goodwin seemed the most adamant in staying another year. You could tell WCS was going pro due to his family yapping away
Definitely. I think he himself wants to come back and I believe he's being genuine when he said he wants to get a ring (non-IU Sweet 16). But as soon as he dropped, "I need to sit down with family" I think most knew what was up.
Goodwin has the skill set but he's going to really struggle until he figures out how to gain control of it. All season long he went for the foul instead of the basket and he won't get a tenth of the calls as a rookie.
We'll see what happens though. Who knows. I never thought Jones or Lamb would come back either.

I would actually prefer if he ended up in the ACC. As I said before, college basketball deserves a Parker/Wiggins matchup.

I think Wiggins is just waiting to see who stays or goes...if Reggie Bullock declares this will likely help UNC. Cause as of right now UNC may have a S5 of Paige,Hairston,Bullock,Macadoo and one of the 5 young bigs...no way Roy plays the small lineup again. KU's S5 is about to be gutted, this is why I think they're more of a threat than people think

Is it just me or can this kid not shoot? The whole highlight was of him dunking, which combined with his ball handling skills is great but he won't be able to get to the rim as easy at the next levels.

Thats the key...
Does he want to be Durant at UT (dominate, put up huge numbers...maybe gets knocked out in the sweet 16)
Or go to a team in UK/UNC that will likely in the NC hunt.
However, I wonder what Harrison Barnes transition to college weighs heavily on his mind...
Remember...Barnes was supposed to be the next big thing. However, he needed two years in college and didnt come out as prepared as some thought.
Obviously Wiggins is a much better prospect than Barnes. However, its interesting that only Ty Lawson is the only good pro player from UNC in recent years

I've seen videos of him shooting fairly well. You shouldn't read into one highlight reel so much.
Watch any NBA?

Yes. The best prospect since LJ can't shoot

No he's not. He's supposed to be a senior
Posted on 3/29/13 at 11:17 am to Black n Gold
It is a UNC/FSU race for him

frick yeah. if he does hats, we will be there just like we always are
. luckily, no one actually thinks we will get him so it'll be more enjoyable to see since there wont be any disappointment.
