re: Amari Cooper vs Patrick Peterson

I don't think anyone is judging him for that play. Almost every CB gets beat all time time. The gif is was probably posted because it was a UA vs LSU matchup, Julio vs PP has history, Coop looks like he might be amazing and is fun to watch, and PP has been a bit inconsistent and people like to rib LSU fans for it because a large % of them think or have said he's a top 2 CB in the NFL.

The damn gif isn't a big deal though. But it was weird how LSU fans responded to it.

LSU fans were giving props to coop, nothing about Peterson besides admitting he got beat and it was a hell of a route by Cooper

What in Christ's name are you talking about? I said there is no reason to make an excuse about the play.

We all know how great of an athlete Peterson is. But did you read the post I responded to? And there were a few others EXACTLY like it. "Great play by Coop with another great athlete in PP right there with him wow two great players just playing PP is good too guys wow look at that play PP IS GOOD TOO OK!"

Why do y'all feel the need to do that shite? That'd be like me responding to a gif of David Toms hitting a hole in one with "what a shot, two great golfers right there" simply because Justin Thomas is in his damn group.

And don't act like y'all didn't bring this on yourselves. Nobody dislikes Peterson. He's the man. The shite that people on this board give y'all is directly the fault of LSU fans screaming that he's the best or 2nd best CB in the league.

Well of course LSU fans will be upvoting the shite out of it. Still though, maybe I took it the wrong way. I still don't understand what the post had to do with ANYTHING. I've never seen that excuse before and doubt I ever will unless Peterson gets best again this year. I was under the impression that every CB had to deal with not knowing where the offense is going. Apparently it's just Cardinals CBs seeing as that excuse isn't made when any other CB gets beat.

There was an excuse though. That's exactly what it was. And why do y'all keep saying Peterson lost his footing like it wasn't because Coop shut is route down really, really well. He slipped because he couldn't stay with Coop on that particular play.

It's not a big deal. I never made a big deal of the play. But there is no need to make excuses like y'all are doing. If what y'all are saying is relevant, then how in the world can anybody ever talk about a WR beating a CB? "Pretty good play but the CB slipped when the WR made is really good move AND on top of it the CB doesn't know where the offense is going."

I'll just stop. We aren't going to agree on this.
