A longtime standout in the 200- and 400-meter races, Felix is expected to compete Friday night in the mixed relay after she didn't qualify for worlds in her individual events. Then the 36-year-old — she turns 37 in November — will retire competitively from the sport she has helped shape for nearly two decades.

All people should be like this young woman, I've watched her since she first started running. Just a complete class act! She's gracious, humble, inspiring, courageous, and ....

She’s got at least one more race tonight, running in the mixed relay 4x 400. The US will be a heavy favorite (slightly less heavy if Femke Bol runs for the Netherlands).
We may see her run the 4x400 women’s prelims later in the week, as well.
