The fact is their defense stepped up in the second half and gave him a chance to win it despite brady playing terrible for the first 2.5 quarters. There are a ton of qbs in the nfl right now that would love that kind of defensive support.

As far as the falcons go. Ur up 16 with 8 minutes left and 3rd and 1. U fumble trying to throw the ball Instead of running it then u have a chance to go up 11 from 20 with under 4 minutes and u have to punt after losing 23 yards. The choke was more impressive than the comeback because of the odds of a team blowing it as hard as it as the falcons did is almost unprecedented... Especially on that big of a stage

You should duck. The know-it-alls who get swept up in the moment like 13 year old girls are gonna be upset with you. Three weeks ago it was "Rodgers, no doubt", now it's Brady.

He just threw for 460 yards in the Super Bowl with no running game.

Speaking strictly Super Bowl, if i had to pick between Montana or Brady as my qb, Im going Montana. Four Super Bowl appearances and zero int's is unheard of. The man was unrivaled in his prime. Can't take anything away from Brady though. 7 SB appearances and 5 titles speaks for itself.

One great quarter???? A no-name, sixth round draft pick had an (unexpected) first start behind center 16 yrs ago... with a lame, 0-2, last place team for 3 seasons prior and took them to the Super Bowl as one of two biggest underdogs in SB history, WON, and has since taken several totally different groups of players to the World Championship on a regular basis... then... winning again this year in what is now legendary fashion. Name one other QB with a career even close.

Nah, I just think it's silly to declare someone the greatest right after an event like this.

I don't think a greatest can be known. If you gave me a choice from Brady, Manning, Montana, Marino and Unitas when starting a franchise I'd be equally happy with any one of them.

The defense played like shite the first half. His offensive line was getting him killed and his receivers were dropping everything... in spite of all that, he still carried the team to the largest comeback of all time.

I am old enough to remember Montana, granted it wasn't *that* long ago, but twenty something fans won't remember him like they didn't remember Spuds, but he was a sight to see. The definition of cool under pressure.

I think Brady is the GOAT (I hate using that), but for one game, both in their prime, I don't know that I would take anyone other than Joe.

Would be a touch choice.

People have been calling him the greatest for a while now. More people are just jumping on the bandwagon considering he just won #5 and closed out that game like a savage.

I disagree that he carried his team. I think the defense and special teams had just as much to do with the comeback as brady did.

You are right. The defense should have just stayed on the field and scored those 19pts.
