Their only shot is for chaos where the conf champs they are competing against have two losses

forgot UGA lost to South carolina earlier so if they slipped up to Auburn it would be over for Georgia before they got to ATL.
Yeah
UGA loses to auburn and LSU doesn’t even have to win in Atlanta
They just win the last three regular season games and they’d be in under that scenario

LSU has played the toughest schedule in the country and deserves to be no 1.
What other teams in the country could face the schedule LSU has and gone undefeated? I have no doubt that Clemson, OSU and Bama could. None.
If the purpose is to put the four best teams in the country in the CFP, there’s no debate. It’s LSU, Clemson, OSU, and Bama. Those four teams have more four and five star talent across both sides of the ball compared to everyone else in the country. They have four of the best QBs in the country. Three of the four have unbelievable NFL talent at the WR position. They all have studs at the RB position. They have 3-4 of the best defensive minds in the game.
The purpose of the CFP is to find the four best teams to determine who is the best. It’s not to find who has played a tougher schedule. Attack Clemson and Bama all you want because the teams they have played this year have been down or not very good. Do so and you are doing so only because you know deep down on the inside you don’t want to face them in the CFP and would rather play a team from the PAC 12 of Big 12.
As far as UGa, if UGa goes through the SEC slate and beats Auburn, aTm and then LSU, then they will get in. But until then, they have not looked overly impressive MANY times this year AND they lost to a mediocre USC team down to its THIRD string QB at HOME.
I know no one here wants to see BAMA again in the CFP given BaMas past history of losing a game and then getting in and winning it all. But the bottom line is that they are still one of the best four in the country.

If Uga wins the sec title as a one loss team and LSU only has one loss- no way possible Bama gets n

This is correct. They won’t. They will be left out. And that’s the only scenario that would keep them out.

Nail on the head.
They know they got practically gifted a game yesterday and are scared shitless 2011 is coming back all over again. That's the truth, 100%.

They are the 3rd best team in the country behind LSU and Ohio St. Saying they don't deserve to get in is more about fear than fact.

It’s about annoyance at this point because Alabama is the only goddamn team in college football to get into a title game without winning their division. Twice.
How many other teams could pull that one off?
Oklahoma? Texas? Ohio State? Clemson? Penn State?

Bama has beat 2 teams with a winning record.
Enough said.

None. Thats why we're Alabama. Jealous even after a win for the 1st time in a decade.
Posted on 11/10/19 at 8:21 am to teke184
And in both cases, they deserved to be there.
Just because you don't like them doesn't mean they're not deserving. Take away the asinine mistakes in the first half and they're 9-0 this morning.

Yeah, take away three mistakes by LSU and Bama is blown out, not losing by one score.
See how that works?

The melt when we get in in January is going to be biblically epic.

If they were to go and win, it’d kind of prove that they deserved to be there.
They’re one of the 4 best teams in the country. They’ll need some help, but they can get in.
