Imagine being Alabama's bitch for so long that your fanbase considers this a victory.

The overreaction on this is humorous. Every team is sending out a similar message trying to pump up their warchest.

What Bama is doing now is the same thing other schools are doing, LSU included.

It is just funny to see that they aren't the only school now allowed to pay players and get away with it. That advantage is gone and it showed itself with the quickness.

Everyone is doing it now and every AD acts like they have no money.

It will be like election season all the time getting bombed by text messages...

"Please save our football team, you are our only hope, donate $50 get us back on top"

"Don't you love us? Sponsor our team and get a free hat"

"Our great LB wants more money, give us money and you will see him play every 3rd down this year to help his NFL stock" (even though he cannot pass defend worth...)

Do you have any idea how utterly, mind-blowingly ignorant a person must be to believe that nobody but Alabama was paying players before NIL started? And to think that Alabama, of all places, could single-handedly control the SEC and NCAA, with all those other rich, powerful schools just sitting around doing nothing? You'd have to be as dumb as someone who thinks eating their own excrement is a good idea.

They also go on to say that Alabama people are a bunch of poors. Which one is it because you can't be poor and powerful?

It’s all supply and demand. In the recent past you had about 15 schools taking part in the black labor market for high end high school players. That kept the prices down and loyalty as a factor for a homegrown kid. Guys like Dabo, Saban, Kirby, Bowden, Meyer, etc played that game incredibly well. Today, demand is much higher for the same supply since every school is now bidding in the open market so the advantage these teams had is gone.

Kirby is still going strong because he is the most recent winner, but you can watch them play and see they are a shell of the machine they were a couple years ago when they had an NFL defense.

The denial of the truth… again.
You think these kids and boosters didn’t run their mouths? You think it’s not obvious in a town of 2,000 people when a player signed… the standard of living went waaaaaaay up?

You think it’s not possible it’s clear they never worked during the summer job you had friends at, yet were allowed to use the boss’ car as needed?

You can act like it didn’t happen. It did. Alabama was the best at it. The best at receiving the blind eye, too.

Alabama could have an NFL-type salary cap if the state would just put a $2,000 “tax“ on sibling marriages and a $1,000 “tax“ on first cousin marriages to fund the Alabama NIL collective.

He'll probably save lives for all the trailer inhabitants who pawn off their space heaters to donate to NIL.
