Alabama lost it at the line.
They never could win the game on the line of scrimmage.
Center and QB gave away a drive off snapping errors.

Michigan, gave them opportunities to stay in the game. Missed extra point and punt return fumble.

It goes back to you win or lose the game on the line of scrimmage.
