Maybe they wanted to bring in a guy who is hard to bunt against?

Wow, pulling Shields? Seems like a bad move, although I know Ventura is good. Not used to relieving or big situations like this.

Royals have a great pen. I'd trust a fresh reliever over a tired starter his third time through the lineup.
