With knowing what you know today were the people wrong who wanted blood?
Are you not convinced Joepa covered it up and enabled Sandusky to keep molesting children?

The penalties they got represents how fricked up the world is. The "Yes lets penalize a bunch of innocent people because I am uncomfortable" mentality

I don't get it. If JoePa had been found to have been running a dirty program(paying recruits etc) any penalties imposed would be welcomed but allowing child molestation to occur under your nose deserves no penalties?
If a booster pays players don't innocent fans suffer?

well, you don't exactly see people talking about it all that much since...
they've put down their pitch forks and moved on.. waiting to judge the next scandal.

Oh, I'm pretty sure he did. But he's fricking dead. So what more is there to it?
And Sandusky is locked up for the rest of his life and they threw away the key.

So you don't think people should react when horrible things happen...got it.

Nothing really as long as he is always known for what he allowed and not just the games he won.

right.... that is exactly what I meant.
Come on, man.
What I'm saying is that I don't think people really care ANYMORE. Is that so hard to understand?
Sandusky is already dead inside. I use to have a ton of respect for Joe Pa but not anymore.

The punishment was handed out. Time to move on but when I do think of PSU I do think about the molestation.

o'brien had a pretty damn good first year as hc.
if he keeps that momentum he'll get them back on track

It's hard not to think about the molestation since PSU football is in its current state because of it.
But I don't have disgust in my mind when I think of PSU. Yeah there are still people there who were behind for JoePa, but in fairness, he did a lot of good for the university. I can imagine that it's hard to reconcile that with what he allowed to happen.
Truth be told, the hamfisted way that the NCAA dealt with this makes it difficult for me to have negative feelings towards PSU.

What do I think about penn state? It must suck to shower there

People who feel that Penn State got "unfairly" hammered by the NCAA, what do you think should happen? It seems like some act like "well, JoePa is dead and Sandusky is in prison for the rest of his life, so there should be no penalties for PSU b/c those who were in the know, are now gone" bullshite, the school should be punished for allowing this cover up to continue, no matter what happened to those in charge. This was an incredibly sick and fricked up situation and the university deserved to be harshly punished b/c some of it happened on their school grounds by an employee of the university. A university should not be a playground for pedophiles.

to be honest, I thought the mob mentality by most towards Penn State was fricking pathetic.
Sandusky will rot in prison for the rest of his life and Joe Pa is dead. So.. in a way I thought what ended up happening to Penn State was unfair.

Both of these.
