Use your noggin bro.

If AD keeps up this level of production and continues to improve (as he has every year), when it comes time for him to make a decision on his future, the NBA media will absolutely by hyping the shite out of it and will be claiming that whatever team lands him will be getting a top 3 player. And I wouldn't be shocked at all if at least some national guys will say he is the best overall player.

I never said he wasn’t top 8. I think that’s called a straw man.

no one worth a salt would ever call a player without playoff success the best player in the league. And let’s be real playoff success is not coming any time soon to New Orleans. you gonna have greek freak and KAT both making it much deeper in the playoffs in the next couple years. They will be regarded more highly. curry and KD will still be contending for title. James will still be making the league create rules to stop him. Etx etx.

KAT would do jack shite if they didn’t have Butler. AD is far superior to Towns, it really isn’t close.

The Wolves without Butler wouldn’t make the playoffs

I agree that KAT is a little soft. Like AD. if you wanna see what it means when someone has the dog in them look no further than Jim butler I love that guy. The thing that gives Kat the edge is that he has a Jim butler to rub off on him. AD doesn’t have that. And clearly isn’t developing It on his own.

The thing KAT has is an elite top 5 SG/SF playing alongside him. Adding an elite PG/SG/SF to a PF/C is more important than a 2nd PF/C. You're still deficient defensively at the wing and a ball handler.

It’ll be interesting to see what he can do once he finally joins a decent organization.

Gave away? Mirotic has been huge for us and we shed asiks contract. Try again.

Dell obviously doesn't understand wings are probably top 2 in terms of team/championship caliber needs.

I mean the best he's ever had was ariza and it just falls off a cliff after that.

Don't worry, after the draft, he'll likely trade the 2019 1st round, Alexis Ajinca, and E'twaun Moore for another SG.

He's going to be with the Pels for a while if Boogie comes back somewhat the same. You can go frick yourself in the meantime.

When you never hold your drafts picks you don’t get production for pennies. Pels pay market value for all of their guys. And some are vastly overpaid. And what you get is no playoff after no playoff after no playoff etc etc.

Say what

Compare their numbers through both players’ age 22 season

KAT is superior in
FG%
3P
3P%
FT%
TS%
Reb
AST
Ppg

And Karl Anthony Towns has never missed a game. He’s played 224 games out of 224 games

I’m not trying to knock AD but that is a laughably bad take up there

Butler is a phenomenal 2 way player and has some dog in him. He is the guy on that squad for sure.

But you know how the NBA is, it’s not a big mans league anymore. Guard and Small Forwards are more important, they control the ball.

Darius Miller is on a great contract for being a top 18 3pt shooter.

Etwaun Moore is probably one of the best bang for your buck contracts in the entire league.

Jrue Holiday is having a career year and is shutting down most teams best player every night. He's worth about 75% of his contract.

Hill contract is bad. Ajinca contract is bad. But we got rid of asiks. Keep trying.

AD is a two way player. Towns is horrible defender

AD at 21 was better than Towns has ever been.

I really wish Lillard could have fell to the Pels in the draft. That would have been the perfect pairing.

It's hard to be a big in today's game and make your teammates better. Jokic is the only one I can really think of that consistently gets his teammates easy buckets. You have to have an elite wing to win.

KAT in his 3 seasons has yet to surpass a PER of 26, AD did that shite at 20 years old.

He’s been 26+ in PER 4 times. He’s the better player. All this talk about Towns is the future yet AD is 24 with 2 first team all NBA nods, about to be 3 Towns better learn to play defense consistently if we ever wanna have a discussion about it being close between the two. KAT is a top 15 player, AD is top 8.

Darius miller would Not be in the nba if he weren’t in the pelicans.

Moore is paid more than Lou Williams just signed for. Moore is overpaid next year with the cap crunch.

Holiday, easily overpaid.

Hill, Wow. One of the Worse heavy minute players the league has ever seen by some metric.

It’s just mess after mess.
