The o rtg and D rtg that you see on bball ref are merely estimates those are not actual numbers.
If you go to Davis game log. Total his plus minus for each game since cousins got hurt. And total the team MOV since cousins got hurt. And you will see clearly that they have been outscored with Davis on the court since boogie cousins injury.

So what is your argument? That the pelicans should bench Davis?
Posted on 3/2/18 at 2:58 pm to JohnnyKilroy
My argument is what I said in my earlier post.
When your team is outscored when you are on the court you have no argument for MVP.

Well the mvp award is based on the season, not a 13 game stretch so this argument is dumber than I originally thought.
Posted on 3/2/18 at 3:03 pm to JohnnyKilroy
Thats quite Ironic and funny isn’t it considering Davis wasn’t even a top 6-7 mvp guy before this 13 game run and now people are saying he is a contender based off a 13 game sample where his team is outscored w him on the court.

Another time intensive task to make taking you at your word seem the better option.

That can be done in one minute. But taking my word is the better option it’s not like I am making stuff up here D

Well really the latest "mvp" publicity started with this winning streak.
Do you deny that?
Do you deny that?

sure I can agree with that.
Tbt this is just talking heads that need something to talk about. This award has a better chance of being unanimous for James than it does of anyone other than james winning it.

you are putting the cart before the horse. His narrative is look what he did with no cousins. So if that’s your story you gotta look at all the time with no cousins. Can’t just pick and choose we gotta be consistent here.
Posted on 3/2/18 at 3:20 pm to Boomshockalocka
As an individual he has balled out and the team is winning at a nearly 2-1 clip since the injury. Lol if you think any single stat trumps those two things.
Posted on 3/2/18 at 3:37 pm to JohnnyKilroy
Do you guys not know how this works?
He does this every time. He looks for one single stat in a sea of amazing stats to fit his narrative. No matter what everything else shows, he finds the one. If he doesn't find the one, then he just goes by "the eye ball test".

Bunch no one is more ‘big picture’ than me. I take everything into consideration. Davis has been great as of late. But when we are talking most valuable player of the league suffice to say you can’t be outscored when you are on the court. That’s the bare minimum.
Posted on 3/2/18 at 4:16 pm to Boomshockalocka
Well when talking about the entire season, he's not getting outscored on the court so who cares about that point anyway?
Posted on 3/2/18 at 4:20 pm to JohnnyKilroy
I was just wanting to set the record straight on his performance sans cousins. I always like to look deeper than the spoon fed mainstream narrative.

Boom: eh he's not that good due to one stat.
Hahahahhahahahaha. You grasping at any straw you can.
Again..hahahahahhahahhaha

I never said he was not that good bubba. When you gotta make up stuff I never said you lost. I know that’s something Ive told you 10 plus times at minimum. You didn’t learn tho.
I said he’s not MVP. I don’t care who the player is if you don’t even outscore the opposition when you are on the court you are disqualified from any MVP talk. That’s a bare minimum. I use the same reasoning v Lebron earlier in the season. I am consistent.
