Lol. Yeah I go full homertard with the Pats. I'm bummed about the first round pick, but honestly it's not like we would use it anyways.
You would use it, to get more picks at least.
The picks are much harder to overcome than 4 games by Brady. How often do we see teams (Seahawks last year, giants over Pats SB) overcome a poor start in the first 4 games. Teams losing draft picks, the lifeblood of an NFL team, is way more substantial.
The draft picks are the real punishment

The loss of the first round pick is overboard

The Pats should be kicked to the CFL for the cheating...

Stuff like this really makes it hard for me to consider him the GOAT. He had me convinced after the Super Bowl, but I should've known better

The funniest part is people thinking this is a one game ordeal.
Exactly. They've been doing it since 2007. Should have lost first rounders in 2016 AND 2017. Would have suspended Brady for 8 games and CBB for the whole season.

Ha. I did laugh at that one.

And why did ridley fumble so much right? Because some players are just that bad that deflated balls won't help. Look at Green Ellis and faulk, two clear examples of what happens when you go from league regulated and not.

BJGE was basically paid not to fumble. The dude held the ball with both hands and rarely juked, much less fought for more yardage.

Because hitting hard and having a pot for plays is as bad as gaining a competitive edge. From the stats, they fumbled one or two times less a game and had one of the lowest drop percentages in the league by players with known issues with drops on other teams before AND after their tenure.
Way to downplay the "frank gore had a cuncussion, target his head" kind of stuff.
But besides that, can you prove their balls were routinely under the PSI limit? What about every other team (saints fan argument) other QB's have the ball tge way they like it. Who's to say they aren't slightly over/under inflated.
Again, no way Brady carries around a PSI gauge and says, "yep, just under the legal limit on only 2 balls. That's what I want"
I could make the argument that nobody had any idea on any team during any game all season until the Super Bowl what the fricking PSI was on any of their game balls

Why weren't the Giants punished for the next game then?
There have been plenty of examples of coaches and players talking about targeting players. Hell, there are plenty of examples of players admitting to hurting other players
