Bradshaw said on The Dan Patrick Show on Thursday, "We did steroids to get away the aches and the speed of healing. My use of steroids from a doctor was to speed up (healing after) injury, and I thought nothing of it. ... It was to speed up the healing process, that was it. It wasn't to get bigger and stronger and faster."

When it comes to playing football in any conditions, the challenge becomes not only throwing it but catching it. And in the ESPN segment narrated by Jim Trotter, Rice nonchalantly made a stunning (in hindsight) confession: Rice put stickum on his gloves.
“I know this might be a little illegal, guys, but you put a little spray, a little stickum on them, to make sure that texture is a little sticky,” Rice said, laughing.

Cowher was asked why he didn't question Patriots coach Bill Belichick about Spygate during Cowher's interview with Belichick that ran Sunday on “The NFL Today” pregame show on CBS.
“We didn't lose the game because of any Spygate, because of them having any additional things,” Cowher said, referring to the 41-27 loss to New England that ended the Steelers' season following a 15-1 regular season. “I think if they're guilty of anything, they're guilty of arrogance because they were told not to do something. But it was something that everybody does.”

4 games?!?!?! That's it???????
That is actually a huge punishment. Their division is WAY better than last year and if they lose 3 or 4 of those first 4 they will most likely miss the playoffs.

Brady shouldn't have been punished at all. The NFL screwed up, yet again.

not enough... should have been 8 games. also should have been 2 1st rnd picks.

This is a NFL problem, make them all play the same one. Problem solved.

He will appeal and it will be reduced to a two game suspension.

Lol I guess the balls had something to do with Luck's completion percentage being a whopping 36 with no TD's and 2 picks. Or with Blount rushing for ~150 yds and 3 TD's. Boo fricking hoo, the Colts fricking suck against New England. And I guarantee you that the entire league does it. I got no problem with what they did.

And they are allowed to do that within league standards. They couldn't even prove Brady wanted the footballs adjusted, let alone prove that he asked anyone to do anything against the rules. This whole thing is ridiculous. Brady is paying the price because the NFL is trying to pretend they can punish their high profile players too. Murder, beating wives and kids, drugs, etc all came down on Brady for not really doing anything.

Everyone speeds. So if you get caught going well over the speed limit you shouldnt be punished because everyone else is doing it.
Yall sound like 1st graders

They've been doing it since 2007.
From the official NFL statement:
"The New England Patriots were notified today of the following discipline that has been imposed for violations of the NFL Policy on Integrity of the Game and Enforcement of Competitive Rules relating to the use of under-inflated footballs in the AFC Championship Game of this past season"
Did the Wells report claim "they've been doing it since 2007"?

Somebody's butthurt that the Colts blow dick against the Patriots. Not our fault the the Colts' offense couldn't move the ball against their defense.

Sure, take that cherry pick you did however you want. Even assuming, which is stupid, that he did what the NFL claims, who cares? I suppose allegedly asking for a soft football could be considered on par with murder, spousal/child abuse, drugs, rape, etc. You be sure to keep track of what's important though.

Look, Brady didn't Rush the ball for almost 150 yds and 3 TD's. Nor did he completely blow up like Andrew Luck did. The fricking Colts lost and could've handled it like that, sorry that the Patriots own the Colts, get the frick over it.

Yeah if by asking you mean bribing the locker room guys to take the balls after they were approved by the officials and deflating them multiple times to where Brady was upset they werent deflated enough to his liking, and paying off these guys with money/autographs/keeping their jobs, all of which is documented in texts....then yeah he "asked"
