Again, those two things have NOTHING to do with each other.

I think they are making a mistake as well

ESPN is waaaay too close to this situation and should have removed james from the bowl broadcast tonight and further programs till all of this is sorted out.

they are coming off in defense of the james family, while trying to make leach looks like some crazy coach who was trying to kill one of the kids.

I agree with that and I do not think they should be letting Craig James comment about it on a broadcast.

or maybe you just don't agree with what they are saying and that is why you think it is a mistake.

talking heads, radio personalties, Around the Horn, PTI etc etc constantly crush the decision making of coaches, and bring down heat upon them that gets them fired.

man, no doubt.

that james kid is twisted.

look, this is an amazing situation. i have never seen a deal go so far south for all parties. i mean, not a single good thing for anyone. TT=screwed. James Gang=Screwed. ESPN=Screwed. Mike Leach=Screwed (although in the end he may come out looking pretty great).

i have info that i am not reporting and i am not a national news organization.

It appears to me that Leach had it out for this kid, for whatever reason. It doesn't matter. When you treat someone differently, especially in a manner that humiliates them you are setting yourself up for retaliation.

From the emails I read about Leach, it seems his agents were just trying to suckle more money off of the University. DO you not remember all the drama with Saban? "Having discussions with other universities in order to pad his wallet?"

Texas Tech admin has every right to be upset about the constant negotiations, request for changes, and demands for payment of a completion bonues a year in advance of completion.

Just look at the Les Miles contract. LSU has absolutely zero leverage....zero.

Like I told the other guy, yeah I must be James(PS you do know neither of their first names is James right?) because no one other person could possibly have a different view point

so the only guy in james entire college career that gave him a chance. after his wr coach said he couldn't hack it in d1 and no one else gave him a scholarship. and leach kept saying he can make it. leach had it out for him?

Come on man, "the dad is too involved", repeatedly puts the kid in non training mechanical areas so he can be closer to the action, give me a break.

These kids are STUDENTS first. I don't care how big of a douchebag, or how lazy, or how talentless they are. You can not treat kids like this these days. Its unacceptable. He was diagnosed with a concussion. So instead of treating him in a training room, you stick him in an equipment shed/garage, and an electrical closet?

and AGAIN his own personal doctor said what leach did was appropriate for his condition.

how do you people keep missing this?
