Wasn't a catch.
The holding call on VT on long run in 3rd qtr was bogus, though.

It’s very simple… to overturn the original call there has to be 100% iron clad conclusive evidence. The replay showed a multitude of possibilities (the most being that it was a catch). How on earth does that get overturned?

That was a bigger Miami steal than that kickoff return TD against Duke.

Refs absolutely STOLE that win from Virginia Tech
That was a LOSS for Miami

Absolutely. They just wanted the refs out alive.
No explanation, just the “call is reversed”

I don’t think it was a clear catch, but that’s a tough call to reverse.

They 100% got that right, complicated it for themselves with a bad on field ruling but the final result was correct.

The call on the field was atrocious to begin with.

I’m honestly stuck somewhere between ‘there wasn’t enough evidence to overturn the call on the field’ and ‘he didn’t complete the catch’
But 9 for VT definitely initially came down with it
What a crazy ending

Did they have a better angle or something?

The 2 officials were right there though. Whether the original called sucked or not, it was the original call

They called it a catch. There’s not enough evidence to reverse it. Refs fricked up.

Please don’t go 7 pages with me about this

Why would you suspend the field crew? Looked like they had it right.

Basically

Both refs were right there and said a catch. Not sure but he definitely out jumped everyone and had the ball. Whether he came down when his arse hit the ground IDK. Because of that his in the frick do you overturn it? You can’t see the ball at all…..ACC taking some pointers from the most crooked conference on the planet the SEC.

Yep, the call on the field was bad, yet there wasn’t enough evidence to overturn the call.

I think he possessed it long enough for it to be a catch.
Both the receiver and defender together controlled the ball to make it a catch. They came down inbounds with both their hand on it. Wasn’t bobbling when they landed . It was definitely caught. A tie like that should go to the receiver.
The ACC wanted to protect Miami so that’s what they called
