the offense gave up the only TD, a fumble returned for a Touchdown 5 points
Auburn got a safety on a blocked punt
Arkansas kicked a 4 point Field Goal.

Most Rushing Touchdowns in one game- GA Tech 18
I will probably get the story not completely right but there was some contractual thing regarding baseball that pissed Heisman off so he forced Cumberland to play GT in football and they literally scrounged up an intramural team to do it.

Most passing attempts in a single game: 89 (Connor Halliday, Washington State - October 19, 2013)
Leach basically admitted to going for this record as a frick you to Oregon because he thought Oregon was running up the score.

If they only knew that was the beginning of the Nebraska decline.
I thought 99 NU was probably the best team in the nation and would of beat FSU(or VT) that year.

I don't mean to brag, but I've destroyed most of these records in Dynasty Mode.

And thats an understatement if you include the full 12 game season. He rushed for 2,850 yards and 44 TDs

And to think he only received 68% of the total Heisman vote (Burrow got 93.8% for comparison) and was left off of something like 25% of all ballots entirely. Rodney Peete received 10% of the vote in 1988 while posting this stat line: 223 Cmp, 359 Att, 2812 Yds, 18 TD, 12 Int. How in the frick do you vote for Peete over Sanders that year?

Heisman was also Tech's baseball coach, Cumberland allegedly using minor league players beat him 22-0 that Spring. Heisman returned the favor, putting 222 on the board
