Didn't show up for mandatory mini camp today.

Schefter on ESPN this morning said that it boils to the fact fact that Rodgers has the ability to make people look good and that's the last thing he wants to do for the members of Packers management he hates.

GB gonna play chicken with A-Aaron and fricking lose.

Not a chance he blinks first. Better trade him as soon as that cap hit decreases or they’ll live to regret it. If he decides to say frick y’all and retire, they get nothing.

Don't worry, Love was 12-23 during practice today so he's got this

Packers will never admit it, but they would be fine with Aaron skipping minicamp (and maybe some training camp). When Favre stayed in Mississippi those offseasons, we got to see Aaron run the team in the offseason, great evaluation period. The Packers now do the same with Love.

I will be shocked if Jordan Love ever starts a complete NFL season.

Four options here for Aaron:

-he shows up next week to avoid losing a year towards his contract.
New CBA voids a year towards FA if a player misses 5 days of work outs.

- he doesn’t show up this year and is fined $90k/day for every missed team activity. Also, previously these fines could be ‘forgiven’ by a team following a player holdout to ensure no bad blood amongst the player and front office. This is no longer the case. These fines are mandatory and can not be forgiven.

- he retires

- Packers fold and trade him.

Fine with it unless they find out Love sucks, then it's panic time.

I would expect at least two first rounders if trading him is the only option.

Jordan Love’s first crack at the 2-minute drill (that we’ve seen) barely gets past midfield and ends with him skying a pass over wide-open Malik Taylor’s head on fourth-and-7 from the plus-46.

Notes from Minicamp practice No. 1

* Jordan Love struggled with accuracy. 12-23 passing in team, including failed 2-minute drill.

* Davante Adams was present but did very little.

* Devin Funchess looks the part.

* Jaire Alexander with a big PBU (what else is new).

That was already known last year.

He wasn't active for any games.

So we're realistically looking at him filing retirement paperwork in short order

I assume the Packers management don't want to give him a trade (for reasons of personal dislike that they will attempt to reframe as business practice). So it seems likely that AR misses the 2021 season.

And Cobb probably has to hold out this year since his numbers will suck with a different QB

Is there another Cobb that plays for GB? Or do you mean Davante?

How hard would that be to accomplish with the current QBs on the roster?
