So he broke Maris’ record. He’s got a lot more to go. It’s you self-righteous guys that think that 61 is the actual record and treat it as such.
That’s what you idiot Astros fans don’t understand. It’s the AMERICAN LEAGUE record. No one here is saying he’s breaking the MLB record set by Bonds. But you wouldn’t understand that since y’all think baseball started 5 years ago.

Hit 61 in game 155. He is not the king. He is tied with George Ruth

Listening the Yankees announcers cry about the walks from the Blue Jays (which weren’t even intentional) was hilarious to me. They were using the “pride” angle…the Blue Jays are playing for their playoffs right now.
It’s not anyones fault except the Yankees shite lineup that it was easy to pitch around him. At least in the last few weeks his teammates have picked it up a bit

"Not even close"? One more and he will be the only one without an asterisk next to his records. That's a fact, as opposed to all the obvious bias here.

Imagine if he gets triple crown in AL as well
That would be historic
All he needs is batting average and he's in a race with Twins player for that - they are currently tied

The fact that it's an AL record is a pretty big deal.
It really isn't though. Interleague play is all season long now, there aren't two separate leagues anymore. It's kinda the same as setting an AFC record.

If it was an Astros player this board would groupthink differently
If it was an Astros player ESPN wouldn't be cutting away from college football games for it. That's why people are rolling their eyes at this whole deal.
Dude is having an amazing season but everyone is acting like he's breaking a record that he isn't actually breaking. TBH the triple crown is the bigger deal and all anybody is talking about is the home runs.

There absolutely are 2 separate leagues.

Horse shite, and y'all need to lose that weak mentality.

Also not true.

The one thing you said that made any sense.

Denial or stupidity?

What's everyone think he finishes with? 62, 63? Do you think they rest him after 62?
Posted on 9/29/22 at 1:13 pm to UnluckyTiger
Unless they think he can hit 12 homeruns then rest him

Don't forget, he once tried to market Judge as a "5 tool player" too.

Did ESPN cut in to show it live?
Posted on 10/4/22 at 7:52 pm to Dalosaqy
I'm glad he had to go on the road to do it. Did McCaigBro69 catch it?
