If he is a legend he would be coaching high school by now.

I know an 8th grade coach that has been offered high school coaching jobs, but turned them down because he has a job. He just coaches for fun.

Why do you hate middle school basketball coaches? There are some bad ones, but there are some really good ones.

I don't think there is such a thing as a legendary junior high coach.

exactly, right after I graduated in '96 all of our boys sports went downhill, St. George is the new STM

STM football
1998-2009
70-15

Doesn't appear football has gone downhill to me.

That is downhill to me, previous to '98 football did not lose...from '90-96 we lost one game.

I am not sure who is coaching them this year, but last year a former lsu qb led them deep in the elite 8.

I actually just beefed up my staff by taking a paycut. Now I have offensive and defensive specialists working with the team.

That St.Jude coach you are speaking learned everything he knows from the previous 2 coaches before him... And he won with the previous coaches players who were amazingly trained before he got there....

it was tough playing against a team that dressed 100 players.(we had to play both ways with our epic cast of 25 or so players)..and their obv age advantage was insane..(primmer was a common thing for the kids at stm back when i was at sgs. they all were allowed an "extra" grade early on, allowing them to have a full year(and sometimes more) on all of the other kids in the csal).i'm still friends with many stm'ers i played against and most of them are at least 1 year older than me(in the same grade)..mauuk jersey was 2 grades below me in high school, but almost the exact same age..

with all that being said, we played some really close games vs stm..im pretty sure they won by a td or less both years my team played them..
