This is going to be pretty tough for any team to do. I can't imagine how beat up a team is going to be after playing 3 straight playoff games.

Imagine being IU and having to beat OSU again at some point to win it all or GA having to beat Alabama.

I would guess they like the separation between the regular season and the bowl games/playoff games. It makes them seem more special (which they are). Not bad to take a weekend for the Army/Navy game too!

anhyone with a bye only needs 3 wins just like in NFL.
whole system is trash. go to best 12 teams. no autobids and use BCS computers with built in SOS and bring back quality win metric. would help SEC teams and keep G5 trash out.
too many games can ruin seasons with inuries and attrition.
shite can conference title games. finebaum said its gonna happen anyway.
